I’m wishing everyone a Happy and Prosperous New Year. We have just come through the harshest and most unpleasant year that I can remember in my 74 years on this earth and I pray that 2011 will be much better. We need to get on our knees and pray for changes that will be good for the country and not necessarily good for the politicians. The country needs to come back to God, put prayer back in schools and put the ACLU out of business. We need to hold the new congress to their promises and see that they don’t forget them.
Everyone needs to get in the habit of voting by voting in every local and state election. That way voting in the 2012 national elections will be easy. Your vote does count, just ask the people of Alaska.
A good start is to locate a church that meets your beliefs and requirements and start attending on a regular basis. Get involved in Bible studies and charity work, Above all, begin a regular prayer plan and pray daily. God does answer prayer, but you do have to pray. Our country was started, based on Judeo/Christian principles and we have gotten away from them. We need to return to those principles.
